Shridhar Chitale serves as an advocate with the Supreme Court of India. He studied law at the prestigious College of Law, York, England on a scholarship awarded to him by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
He has represented various high-profile clients such as IBM, Channel, Cartier, Mont Blanc, and Microsoft among others on lawsuits pertaining to the piracy of Trade Marks and Copyrights. He was also given the privilege of being appointed the Standing Counsel for the State of Goa in 2013. Mr. Chitale currently represents the Government of Goa in the Supreme Court of India. His skill and expertise have allowed him to assist and appear with well-known Supreme Court Senior Advocates such as Mr. Soli Sorabjee (Former Attorney General of India), and even P. Chidambaram, and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and others including those related to defamation and contractual law.
